What’s your “why”?
Education access. My parents showed their commitment to my education, even working Bingo Night at my small Catholic school to help pitch in and do their part (despite the late nights and cigarette smoke). I was fortunate to receive financial aid and scholarships to access incredible schools which supported and shaped me. My first decade as a fundraising professional was driven by a desire to “give back” and ensure an excellent education could be available to students regardless of their socio-economic background. Working for Blue Garnet takes that passion for education access to a strategic and systems-change level. I’m excited to contribute to this cause in new ways.
